Our original sailing charter that we started over 10 years ago.
Set sail in South Haven, just 18 minutes south of Saugatuck. You’ll embark on your charter aboard the Margaret Ann; a 37 foot blue water cruiser, perfect for small groups up to 4 passengers.
The Margaret Ann offers a relaxed sailing experience with an experienced and friendly crew. Pitch in and help handle the sails or just kick back and enjoy the scenery. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer, we will ensure a memorable experience for your entire group!

More Information
ITINERARY
After departing from the dock in South Haven, we will motor down the Black River through the channel for 10 minutes before setting sail on Lake Michigan. Once on the lake, we will set our course and sail along the beautiful shore line.
PARKING
We do not have dedicated parking in downtown South Haven, although there are usually spaces available in the city parking lots.
AGE LIMITS
Since this is a private sailing experience, we are able to sail with all ages. Please note that any child under the age of 6 must wear a life jacket at all times due to US Coast Guard rules. We provide age appropriate life jackets, but feel free to bring your own.
BATHROOM FACILITIES
Margaret Ann is equipped with a small bathroom (aka “head’) that is fairly rudimentary.
FOOD AND DRINK
BYOB! Feel free to bring along whatever you like to eat and drink on board. We keep a cooler full of ice on board for your use as well as a modest stock of other useful items like a corkscrew/bottle opener, disposable utensils, cups, etc.
STAYING WARM
It’s a good idea to bring an extra layer of clothing since it’s often a few degrees cooler on the water.
WEATHER CANCELLATION
The captain or crew will be in touch on the day of your sail if it looks like we’ll have to cancel. If that’s the case then you’ll have the option to reschedule or take a 100% refund.
NO SAILING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
The captain and crew will take care of sailing the boat. However we love when our guests help out with the sails or even take the helm!
